We’re hiring: Digital Campaign Manager

UPDATE 15/3/22: This position is now filled, however if you’d like to keep an eye out for future roles with LVC, follow us on Instagram or LinkedIn.

We’re looking for a Digital Campaign Manager to join our team.

This is a permanent role that could be part time or full time, with a mix of work from home or at our lovely office in Cremorne, Melbourne (more on that below).

Naturally, there are some skills and experience we’ll need you to have for this position. However, we’re flexible on a few things, and that’s where we’d like your input.

Basically, we’re happy to mould this role around the right person. Call us biased, but we think this is a pretty special opportunity for someone who’s seeking that elusive work-life balance (rare in agencies), and is keen to make their mark as part of a small, supportive team.

About Little Village Creative:

We’re an agency of thinkers, makers and doers that love to grow and learn. We enjoy tackling new challenges and looking for different ways to crack a brief or solve a problem. Clients love our can-do attitude. That’s why we call ourselves Chameleons of Creativity.

We’re a small team that looks out for each other. Everyone is responsible for rolling up their sleeves and getting things done. No job is too small or unimportant. However, our emphasis is on working smarter, not harder. When we’re on, we put in 100%. Then we log off and enjoy our lives outside of work.

We wholeheartedly support flexible working arrangements and have done since day one (long before lockdowns). We strive to create a supportive and inclusive workplace for all.

The role:

As our Digital Campaign Manager, you’ll assist LVC’s Digital Marketing Director in the day-to-day management of paid digital campaigns for our clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, monitoring and optimising campaigns across Google, Facebook, LinkedIn and other channels as required. You’ll be required to produce accurate, insightful campaign reports for our clients on a regular basis.

In addition, you’ll support the Digital Marketing Director in developing campaign plans and building strong relationships with our clients by being enthusiastic, results-driven, proactive and organised.

Our digital team works in collaboration with the wider agency team. Therefore, your role will involve working closely with our creatives, strategists and client partners to ensure they have a clear understanding of campaign objectives, specs and requirements. You’ll help us create an environment where great ideas can flourish, and we can do our absolute best work for our clients.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing clients’ digital campaigns on a daily basis, including but not limited to Google (search, display, shopping), Facebook and LinkedIn.

  • Building great client relationships. You’ll ask the right questions to understand how their business operates, and work closely with them to help them achieve their marketing goals.

  • Communicating with clients in a clear and timely manner.

  • Creating performance reports for clients on a regular basis, using tools such as Google Analytics, Hubspot and Google Data Studio.

  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest possible standard.

  • Collaborating with LVC’s creative, account management and production teams to come up with new and interesting marketing ideas for our clients. You’ll be responsible for working in close partnership with other internal team members, ensuring creative requirements and specs are communicated and understood.

  • Building strong relationships with LVC’s external suppliers by briefing them clearly and communicating with them in a timely manner.

The skills and experience you’ll need:

  • Experience in setting up and managing campaigns across Google (search, display, shopping) and Facebook.

  • Proficiency in using Google Sheets and/or Excel.

  • The ability to analyse data and interpret it into meaningful reporting insights for clients.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. This includes the ability to adjust your communication style to fit the context.

  • The ability to self manage. We expect you to ‘own it’, be proactive and take responsibility for your clients’ campaigns.

  • The ability to manage up and flag potential issues before they become something bigger.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience in campaigns for other channels (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit, TikTok).

  • Experience in using Google Data Studio.

  • An understanding of technical integrations in Google and Facebook.

  • The ability to write copy for digital ads, Adwords and/or social media posts.

  • Email marketing experience.

  • Experience in working with start ups, tech companies and/or financial services.

Help us with this bit:

Full time or part time?

If you’re looking for a part time role that’s flexible enough to mould around your life - be it family commitments, a hobby or something else - let’s chat.

Equally, if you’re an exceptional Jack-of-all-trades who can help us with a whole bunch of stuff beyond the above (we are a small team after all), we can consider making this role full time.

Tell us what you’re looking for. We’re all ears.

WFH or the office?

We’ve operated as a hybrid workplace since day 1 (long before lockdowns were a thing). We allow our team the freedom to work from home as and when they choose, with the odd exception where we may require you in the office for some face-to-face time.

Tell us what flexibility looks like to you. If it works for us too, we’ll make it happen. Win-win.

Location?

Live outside of Melbourne or interstate? We’re cool with that. You will have to be based in Australia though, and have the right to live and work here.

Got something special you can bring to the table?

A knack for writing? Mad Canva skills? Valuable life experience? The ability to pull together the world’s best office playlist?

We love generalists and versatilists who have more to offer beyond the bullet points of a job description.

Sound like you? Don’t be shy. Tell us what makes you special, we want to know. It may help us craft your dream job.

Sound like fun? Get in touch.

Send us your CV (and anything else you’d like to share) to: careers@littlevillagecreative.com.au

If we think we might be a good fit for each other, we’ll be in touch to chat.
