Rebrands, client love and a shot at the glass ceiling
If we had to describe the vibe of these past few months, it’d be the rehearsal room right before opening night. The lights are up, the creative energy is buzzing, and everything you’ve been working on behind the scenes starts coming together. New projects kicking off, long-term work landing with impact, and just enough good chaos to keep it interesting.
That’s pretty much how it felt at Little Village Creative as 2025 kicked off. Between big brand launches, client catch-ups and the thrill of watching our new positioning land, we’ve had our hands full in the best way possible.
Here’s what’s been going on inside the Village:
A rebrand to remember.
Essential Catering & Events came to us with a clear brief:
Rise above the noise and outshine the competition.
Our solution? Shake off the sameness and build a catering brand that actually made people hungry.
Because let’s be honest, most catering websites feel like they’ve been cooked up without much love or seasoning. Bad lighting. Generic copy. Snoozy SEO-fuelled templatefests.
And so we challenged ourselves: what if a catering brand could be as glossy, exciting and appetite-inducing as your favourite bookmarked café? Then we made it happen.
The result is a brand that’s warm, stylish and just a little bit decadent - much like the events Essential throws. The client put it best:
"You had to move a couple of old caterers to a new ground, and we couldn't be happier with the results."
We’ll be sharing the full rebrand soon, along with the story behind it, our process, and the impact it’s already having for the Essential team.
We’ve entered our category-busting era.
Following a formula isn’t our thing. Never has been.
So it’s no surprise that our new positioning - Category-busting brand builders - feels like a natural evolution. It’s how we’ve always worked, but now we’re saying it loud and proud.
Because we don’t believe in playing it safe. We believe in brands with bite. Brands that stop people mid-scroll. Brands that make people feel something. That’s the kind of work we’re here to do.
You’ll be seeing more and more of this throughout the year as we continue to champion the unique and special way we help our clients stand out and make money.
Friends, old and new.
February gave us an unexpected treat when our former Client Partner (and forever friend) Gale stopped by the studio. We’re still smiling about it.
Outside of the office, we were super excited to catch up with our friends at GROUP GROUP’s fabulous events for category creators, brand builders and the sex tech curious.
Huge thanks to Garry Williams for bringing the magic, and shoutouts to the excellent sponsors Chris Bartlett (tapestry) and Bryony Williams. It’s always a joy to be in a room with awesome people.
Other things we’ve been up to.
Building a women’s golfwear brand from the ground up.
Developing a category-busting growth strategy for a new enterprise software client.
Designing fresh collateral for a very lovely client in the public sector consulting space.
Locking in FY26 initiatives with one of our long-time tech clients.
Rolling out copy, content and creative for a crew of fun and fabulous ecommerce brands.
We’ve said it before, we’ll say it again: never a dull moment.
A Village anniversary worth celebrating.
In March, we celebrated our wonderful Campaign Manager, Ashleigh Masters, on their third LVC anniversary. Ashleigh is the brains and creativity behind so much of the content we develop for our clients, and not only that, they run the day-to-day magic across Meta, LinkedIn and other channels with ease.
We’d be lost without them, and we’re so grateful for everything they bring to the Village.
Fourth time lucky in 2026?
Our fearless founder Carolyn Stebbing was once again named a finalist in this year’s Women Leading Tech Awards, Glass Ceiling category - her third year running.
She couldn’t make it on the night, but thanks to fellow finalist Jen Dobbie, she still got the all-important proof: her name up in lights. A win? Close enough.
Can’t wait three months for the next quarterly update? Fair. Sign up to our newsletter for interesting, infrequent emails from inside the Village. No spam. No salesy nonsense. Just the good stuff.
